5 - Day Course
Overview This course teaches the principles and practices of effective quality management systems in accordance with the ISO 9000 Series of Standards and ISO 19011:2002, “Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems”. Experienced instructors guide students through the entire audit process, from managing an audit program to reporting on audit results.
Program Details and Objectives Course methodology includes lectures, workshops, case studies and student presentations in quality management system concepts, and role play exercises to provide students with practical experience in conducting audits. Completion of this course requires passing the continual evaluation (participation, attendance and group work), plus passing the final exam process.
Following the completion of this course; students should be able to: û Understand quality management definitions, concepts and guidelines. û Understand the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard. û Understand the roles and responsibilities of the auditor. û Apply ISO 19011:2002 definitions, concepts and guidelines. û Recognize the principles, practices and types of audits. û Manage an Audit Program. û Initiate the Audit and Conduct Opening Meetings. û Collect Audit Information. û Communicate Effectively During the Audit. û Generate & Prepare Audit Findings and Conclusions. û Conduct Closing Meetings. û Prepare and Present Final Audit Reports. û Understand the Registration Process.
